QR codes, other languages, message signing, etc like new features are coming in the Dogecoin blockchain protocol.
Dogecoin (Doge) is a popular Proof-of-work (PoW) consensus based blockchain network. This coin was launched by Billy Markus & Jackson Palmer in 2013. At that time this coin grabbed huge popularity in the internet world but later lost popularity rapidly. In late 2020, Tesla CEO Elon Musk jumped in support of this coin & pumped Doge price by 300 times within a few months.
On 24 March, DOGE developer Michi Lumin took to Twitter to share the new upcoming development works in the Dogecoin blockchain.
Lumin confirmed that the new upgrade will bring language support that will be helpful for devs & non-devs lovers of Dogecoin.
“Libdogecoin now supports the generation of seed phrases to and from keys, in many languages. For non-devs, this functionality is available in the included ‘such’ executable as a utility and can be used to generate mnemonic phrases.”
Further Doge core dev added that the new upgrade also will bring image-generating QR codes as well as a message signing function, which obviously will increase the use case of the Dogecoin blockchain at a practical level.
Other additional improvement changes in the Dogecoin blockchain will bring better error-less development support for the developers e.g fix the memory integrity checks, truncation fixes, and length checks for edge cases. In short, the upcoming upgrade will bring big changes for devs as well as normal dogecoin users.
The current trade price of Dogecoin is $0.0748 & this trade price is 11.87% down over the last 30 days of trade price.
In the last couple of years, many crypto experts claimed that Dogecoin may not reach a better level like other leading top 10 crypto assets are moving because the Dogecoin team failing to bring a better level of trend-based development work and surely it will not be enough to get support from Tesla CEO because crypto sector doesn’t work like this way.
