Now Telegram users can trade crypto assets within the app

Now the crypto bot of Telegram will allow Telegram users to sell crypto assets under a P2P model.

Telegram is a popular messaging app, which is known to provide huge numbers of extended features over other messaging platforms. On this platform, users can send very large files easily and can connect to other platform users without sharing their actual mobile numbers.

Telegram @Wallet Bot, which allows crypto assets purchase using bank cards & exchanges & also allows the transfer of crypto assets to other wallets, launched a new feature which will allow Telegram users to sell crypto assets to other Telegram crypto wallet users.

In short, now users can invest and also can sell, without any need of going outside Telegram or any use of third-party platform.

Under this new feature, crypto assets trade will be under an anonymous situation where a crypto asset seller will be required to pay 0.9% fees, as a commission for the service provider. On the other hand, crypto asset buyers will not face any commission charge fees.

A spokesperson of TON Foundation said:

“It is aimed towards ordinary users and provides a low entry threshold for learning about blockchain. Many services on TON are similar to the usual applications that people are already used to using,”

At present, Telegram users can use USD, EUR, UAH, BYN, and KZT to buy cryptocurrencies. And only Ton token & BTC can be transferred via a direct chat system, which means Telegram is still limited with its features.

Initially, crypto wallet & crypto purchase services via Telegram bot service was launched in April of this year, which was delayed by more than 1 year because of a regulatory hurdle. In 2020, The US Securities body was forced to return $1.2 billion worth of funds to TON coin ICO participants and also pay a fine of $18.5 million fund to the agency.
