Shibarium lead developer says funds are safe in the Shibarium blockchain

Over the last two days, people spread huge wrong information & news about the Shibarium blockchain launch.

Shibarium is a layer-2 scaling network by the Shiba Inu project team. On 15 Aug, the Shibarium mainnet went live but hours later people claimed that their ETH funds were stuck in the network. Later some crypto X users (formerly Twitter) suggested people stop using the Shibarium blockchain temporarily because already $1.2 million worth of Ethereum was stuck in the network.

In the meantime, many people jumped against the Shibarium blockchain and started spreading wrong news, to create panic.

Some people shared fake tweets, where the Shiba inu leader developer Shytoshi Kusama allegedly said that he tried his best to fix the issue but he failed.

The Shiba Inu marketing strategist responded against all such fake news & fud and said that his team is working tirelessly to fix the issue.

In a blog post, Shiba inu developer Shytoshi Kusama talked about this struggling phase and said that there are no crypto network bridge issues across the Shibarium blockchain network and also said that people are spreading fake screenshots, containing abusive words by Kusama.

“Let’s deal with the fud. There is no bridge issue, any screenshot you see of me saying any issue is false and your funds are safe (safe)”

— Shytoshi Kusama

According to the developer, the sudden inflow of huge traffic in the Sibarium blockchain resulted in a very big load on the network and the Shibarium devs are working with full hard work, before the restart process of the network.

On 18 Aug, Another Kaal Dhairya also addresses the spreading fud about the Shibarium blockchain. He said that some haters are using bots to spread fud in the crypto community.

Kaal noted that the network issue occurred because of the influx of traffic in the single Block and in that situation the network went offline in safe mode. So people don’t need to be tension about the money they have at the Shibarium network.
